The Eagles will not see any fans at their opening contest this season.
The newly named Washington Football Team announced that they will not have fans in attendance for home games during the 2020 season.
The team announced during a press conference on Wednesday that games played at FedEx Field in Landover, MD will be without fans.
The official press release had a few words from team owner Dan Snyder.
“We are fortunate to host the best fans in the NFL year after year, but the well-being of those supporters, along with our players, coaches and each and every member of our gameday staff is too important, and the knowledge of COVID-19 too unpredictable, to welcome our fanbase to FedEx Field to start the season.”

The Eagles will open the season at FedEx Field, and it will be difficult for the team, but something that they will get used to.
The Eagles and Washington Football Team’s game is scheduled for Sept. 13 with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
