The Eagles made some noise in free agency Friday night.
The Eagles and ex-Vikings safety Anthony Harris have agreed on a one-year, $5 million dollar deal, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.
Harris, 29, spent his first six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings initially signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He led the NFL with six interceptions in 2019. Harris finished the 2020 season with 104 tackles.
Harris has been one of the top safeties in the league since becoming a full-time starter in 2019, lining up at free safety. This is a big signing for the Eagles, who add a much needed starter to a bare secondary.
