Eagles Bringing Back ‘The Bodyguard’ Jason Peters

Updated: Jul 30, 2020

On Tuesday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Philadelphia Eagles are bringing back future Hall of Fame OLJason Peters on a one-year deal.

Peters, 38, has been re-signed to play right guard for the first time in his illustrious career.

The Eagles previously lost All-Pro guard Brandon Brooks for the season to an Achilles injury and have been debating several options to fill the void. Matt Pryor, the young backup, has been the front runner to move into the starting position. However, this move adds depth and options to the Eagles offensive line.

On Sunday, analyst Brian Baldinger had tweeted out that the Eagles were making a move that would drastically improve the team. Is this the move he was talking about?
